The Office
KVWSMB has established its office at a rented house in Thapathali. The Board’s own office building in Sainbu, Bhaisepati is in construction phase and is almost completed. The functions of KVWSMB ask for high level skilled and experienced manpower. Since it is different from traditional Government and other operational departments its structure is also different than traditional pyramid structure with diminishing number of higher level staff and increasing number of junior level staff. Instead higher number of specific work related higher level professionals will form the core part of the organization.
The organization is headed by an executive director, who is responsible for all functions of the Board. The executive Director reports to the executive committee and co-ordinates with MoWSS and all other related Ministries/ institutions/agencies.The approved number of regular staff is 53. This number is not yet fulfilled. They will be gradually fulfilled within 2 years as per requirement.
Services like security, cleaning and specific works that cannot be accomplished by regular staff shall be outsourced. The regular staffs shall be mainly involved in regular works of office administration, management, of and co-ordination, record keeping, communication etc.
